Security
In 2019 Ocean Escapes was requested to offer security vessels for the Monarchy of the Netherlands during a visit around Cork Harbour. Ocean Escapes not only carried Surveillance and Protection Department personal but also members from An Garda Síochána. Along with providing a security detail Ocean Escapes also provided transportation for members of the international press which included refreshments.
TV Series
Ocean Escapes was contacted to provide fast boat service for 2021 & 2022 episodes of RTEs hit show Ultimate Hell Week Series 3,4 & 5. Ocean Escapes first offered location scouting and consultancy regarding the wide range of stunts and all maritime aspects of the show. Ocean Escapes worked closely with production to produce a high quality and possible the most intense show to date.
TV & News
Ocean Escapes was contacted by RTE to help in the filming around Cork Harbour for Nationwide. The owner Andrew was featured on the show sharing his love for what he does and how he started. Ocean Escapes provided local knowledge and offered advice regarding the conditions and points of interest during the film of the segment. Featured Monday 18th February 2019. More recently Ocean Escapes were contacted by TG4 to offer a platform for filming along our South Coast for an upcoming travel programme.
